The Council of Faiths were honoured to be joined by the Mayor of Milton Keynes Cllr Paul Trendall to celebrate the role of faith groups in Milton Keynes and the community role played by the Council of Faiths in Milton Keynes. We hosted our Dinner with the Mayor event at Marsh Drive Community Centre on Thursday 17th September.

The event was an opportunity to recognise the civic value of faith groups in Milton Keynes, with the Mayor speaking passionately about the impact that faith groups made, the importance of unity in standing up against hate based on faith or ethnicity, and the commonalities he has experienced while visiting religious groups in Milton Keynes.

Our thanks to the Mayor for inspiring our members and affirming the civic role of the Council of Faiths,  as well as to Better Than Mamma's  for providing the catering and Great Linford Parish Council for the venue.
