Mohammad was born in 570AD. Received no formal education. He preached in Mecca, but moved to Medina due to resistance.

The life of the holy prophet has been scrutinised by friend and foe.

Book – ‘Life of Mohammad’ – given as gift to all present.

Ironic that religions created for peace are now seen as source of division and war.

Britain now multi-cultural. Persecuted peoples have come here.

People should live in peace together.

Mohammad spoke with Christians and Jews and non-believers.

Share our similarities and respect our differences.

Islam has 73 sects!

Ahmadiyya formed in India.

Ahmadiyya – “One awaited Messiah for all religions”.

100 million followers worldwide. Do a lot of charity work. Motto “Love for All, Hatred for none”.

Hold peace seminars.

2 holy days – end of Ramadan, pilgrimage.

In MK there are 30-40 families, about 120 people.

Raised funds for MK Snap, collect money for poppy appeal.

It is difficult to get different strands of Islam together.

We believe in prayer.

Dubai – Conference last month to which  Ahmadiyya were invited for first time.
