For the morning we will have a variety of speakers, from organisations based locally and elsewhere, talking about great projects they have carried out to connect with people who can sometimes be left out of mainstream engagement. These talks are designed to inspire you to think about your own work and how it can evolve in MiIton Keynes.
Following a networking opportunity and buffet, local charities will talk about the work they are doing on the Have Your Say project, a council-funded programme to encourage engagement with local communities and to ensure everyone in the city has a say about issues that effect them.
The day will close with a hosted discussion around the theme of "Challenges to Engagement."
Tickets to the event are FREE thanks to to funding from Milton Keynes Council.
