Statement on Bondi Beach shooting
Statement from Milton Keynes Council of Faiths:
We, as Milton Keynes Council of Faiths, express our deep concern and solidarity with the Jewish communities affected by the recent attacks in Bondi Beach, Australia. Such acts of violence and hatred are intolerable and have no place in our society.
In these challenging times, it is vital that we come together as a diverse community, united in our shared values of respect, understanding, and compassion. We condemn all forms of anti-Semitism and discrimination, and we stand firm in our commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all faiths and backgrounds.
We encourage dialogue and collaboration among all community members to strengthen our bonds and promote peace. Let us collectively reject hatred and work towards a future where everyone can live freely and safely, celebrating our differences as a source of strength.
Together, we will not be silent in the face of injustice. We will support one another and stand in solidarity against hate, ensuring that our community remains a beacon of hope and unity.
