Statement on Manchester Synagogue Attack
Statement on Manchester Synagogue Attack
Following the attack on Crumpsall Synagogue on 2nd October, Waqas Ahmad has issued the following statement on behalf of Milton Keynes Council of Faiths:
We are profoundly saddened by the recent attack on the synagogue in Manchester, especially during this sacred time. Such acts of violence strike at the heart of our shared values and the sanctity of all places of worship.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Jewish community and all those affected by this tragic event. We stand in solidarity with them, united in grief and in our commitment to peace.
May calm be swiftly restored and may every place of worship regardless of faith be protected and respected as a sanctuary of hope, reflection, and unity.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Cllr Waqas Ahmad
Chair, Council of Faith Milton Keynes
